I love this place free wifi, truck parking around back by the Macdonalds (or next door at the truckstop), clean rooms,noon checkout, swimming pool that is open 24 hours,workout room, they gave me a complementary razor and shave creme, they take corporate lodging, and free beer!  What! Free Beer?! yep from 6 to 8 monday through thursday first beer is free.  They even open it for you.   highwaym

If you are traveling on I 90 between Snoqualmie Pass and Ellensberg you have probably seen signs for Cle Elum,  I love pulling my 18 wheeler into this little town.  Just south of first street along the railroad tracks there is a wide area that affords parking for 18 wheelers not to mention toward the east end of town you have The Cottage Inn with restaurant, bar, and loads of truck parking.  this town still has a pioneer feel to it with some really good restaurants two of my favorites are "The Sunset grill", and "Pho Elum" a Vietnamese restaurant,  The Sunset Grill I love for its gourmet american style food (for breakfast try thier oatmeal piled high with fruit and nuts),  and Pho Elum for its traditional vietnamese soup called Pho pronounced fuh... they are across the street from each other on the corner of first and Bullitt,  For big truck parking just head one block south on Bullet park by the railroad tracks or Sunset Grill has big lot with truck parking you cant miss.  highwaym
