There is a nice little spring on hwy 12 about 13 miles west of Helena just west of the summit of macdonald pass on north side of the highway.  Its just a pile of stones with a metal pipe coming out of the rocks but the water tasted very good and it was the perfect place to fill up my Glass Water Jug.  For Free!!!!!!
